The bible and homosexuality what do you think?

Hey I'm a 14 year old girl i've been confused about my sexuality for a while utterly confused lol This confusion though has made me interested in the subject. The other day i was talking to my mum about it (not me the whole christain homophobe thing because i was born and raised as a christian) My mum told me that in the bible it apparently says that homosexuality is a sin and that if your gay you dont go to heaven she also told me that she didn't understand at all why it was like that and most certainly didn't agree with it. Today i decided to look up exactly what it said about it. I think its terrible that its considered a "choice" and a "sin" Its not hurting anyone like things like rape and theft and adultery is it? It isn't a choice at all,you either are arent or you dont quite know yet. I dont see how I can still be a christian when it says things like that. Also the things it says about women being lower than men thats complete shizz as well. What are your guys opinions of it all?
